Hours: Monday – Friday (44 hours), reduced in school holidays
Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

About the School
Belmont Primary School is an independent specialist day school for boys aged from 5 to 11, catering for children with a wide range of behavioural, social and emotional needs in Rawtenstall. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
We pride ourselves in steering children in the right direction, nurturing aspiration to progress them both academically and socially to encourage them to take pride in their achievements. About the Role
You will be responsible for a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of the school. You will be able to prepare and implement risk assessments and any recommendations and procedures. Contribute to school development projects and general maintenance schedules. Be sympathetic to environmental concerns regarding all aspects of the school and grounds. Needs to be a hands on individual who can develop and implement systems and procedures and maintain current ones.
You will need experience in team work, facilities management or a related field. ‘IOSH managing safely’ is essential for this role – training can be provided if not already obtained. Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under your own the initiative and under pressure. IT competent and able to use on-line recording systems.
You need to be flexible with a positive attitude and be able to plan and organize a work routine, prioritizing as required. You need to be able to complete paperwork and cost materials. You also need to hold a current driving license.
