The Autism Show is for the growing community of parents, carers, professionals and individuals on the autism spectrum who all too often don’t know where to turn for answers. The event attracts over 3,000 people looking to find the latest information, advice, products and services to help them support individuals on the autism spectrum. Acorn Care and Education are delighted to announce the appointment of Tamsin (Tammy) Blythe as Principal at Underley Hall School. Tamsin’s career has almost exclusively been spent in BESD residential schools , she has been in senior leadership posts in this sector for nine years, the last five of which have been as Head Teacher of a now very successful Primary and Lower Secondary school in West Sussex. Tamsin is very much looking forward to the challenge of Underley Hall and is looking in her first year to raise the schools positive profile with referring authorities by securing excellent practice, provision and outcomes for our young people. In the longer term Tamsin would like to see Underley Hall flourish as a preferred provider that offers young people with complex needs and the teams around them a unique package of therapeutic and transitional services that compliment their care and education, enabling them to positively contribute to society as young adults.
