OfSTED Inspection acknowledges the school’s good support for children and the staff’s calm, professional manner
In its inspection of the school in March OfSTED reported:
“The Meadows is a well established school which provides a satisfactory standard of education and care for its pupils. The pupils enjoy coming to school and are proud of their achievements. The new owners are making significant improvements to the premises and grounds.”
The report acknowledges the many good features of the school which also included the good provision for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development; children’s positive attitudes to school, especially their behaviour in and around the school and their ability to manage their own behaviour; good relationships between staff and pupils; and the strategy the schools uses to maintain a calm learning environment. The report also acknowledged the schools strong commitment to enabling pupils to adopt healthy lifestyles.
