Donkey sanctuary.
The boys from Class 1 go to the Elizabeth Svendsen Trust donkey sanctuary every Friday. The boys love going to visit the donkeys and especially love riding them. Riding the donkeys the children build their self-esteem, co-ordination and balance.
At Christmas time the boys got a special treat when Father Christmas paid a visit to the donkey sanctuary. The donkeys were wearing special reindeer ears and took them through the grotto to see Father Christmas. Each boy got a special present from Father Christmas; we then had a lovely party with another local school. The boys really enjoyed interacting with the other children and played party games with them.
