The recent Ofsted inspection to assess Oakfield House School's application to open an ASD unit reports:
"The curriculum proposed for ASD pupils would suit their needs well. The curriculum provided is based on the International Primary Curriculum, this innovative approach incorporates the National Curriculm and suits pupils' learning needs well.
There is a clear focus on the provision of innovative and exciting practical activities. There are regular, planned opportunities to develop information and communication technology skills. These activities are helping pupils to develop knowledge of the world around them, along with the personal skills they will need to take an active part in society."
